An Italian hors d'oeuvre, Tomato Bruschetta is easy to make and also makes for a great snack in-between meals.
Ingredients
- 5 slices of French bread
- 2-3 chopped Tomatoes
- Salt to taste
- Black Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp. Olive oil
- 10-12 Basil leaves
- 1 tsp. Garlic paste
Preparations
- In a mixing bowl add tomatoes, salt, pepper, olive oil, basil leaves and mix well.
- Place the French bread slices on the baking tray and drizzle them with olive oil. Grill the bread in the Usha OTG at 200˚ for 5-6 mins.
- Spread some garlic paste on the toasted bread and top it up with the tomato mixture. Grill again at 200˚ for 4-5 mins in the Usha OTG.
- Garnish with some chives.
