Handvo
Ingredients
- 2 cups soaked rice
- 1 cup soaked chana dal
- ¼ cup soaked tur dal
- ¼ cup soaked urad dal
- 1 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup grated carrot
- ¼ cup peas
- ¼ cup French beans
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 tsp green chillies
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup curd
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 6-7 curry leaves
- ½ tsp asafoetida powder
Preparations
- Add soaked rice, soaked chana dal, soaked tur dal, soaked urad dal, fenugreek seeds and water in the grinder jar of the Usha Maximus + . Grind the ingredients to make a thick batter.
- Add carrots, peas, French beans, ginger, green chillies, turmeric powder, salt, curd and baking soda to the batter. Mix all the ingredients together.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, sesame seeds, curry leaves and asafoetida. Pour the batter into the pan. Cover and cook on medium flame for 10-12 mins. Open the lid and turn the handvo and cover and cook the other side for another 10-12 mins.

Cook on low flame + Being extra careful while flipping to avoid crack/breaking of Handvo
