Khatti Meethi Dal
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 8-10 curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp asafoetida
- 2-3 green chillies
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1/2 turmeric powder
- 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Mawana Super Fine Sugar
- 150 gm soaked arhar dal
- Salt to taste
- Water as required
Garnish
- Chilli oil
Preparations
- Turn the knob of the Usha Electric Pressure Cooker to the Dal Mode.
- Add ghee, cumin seeds, mustard seeds, curry leaves, asafoetida, green chillies, garlic paste, ginger paste and mix. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, Mawana Super Fine Sugar, soaked arhar dal, salt, water and mix. Cover the lid of the Usha Electric Pressure cooker and cook until the knob resets itself to Keep Warm Mode.
- Garnish with chilli oil and serve hot with rice.
