An Indian Rice pudding recipe for all occasions - festive, auspicious and everyday dessert, to make your day more wholesome.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 6-8 Cashew Nuts
- 6-8 Almonds
- 6-8 Pistachios
- 5 tbsp Basmati Rice soaked in Milk
- 2 cups Milk
- One pinch Saffron
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder
- 1/4 cup Khoya
- 1 tbsp dried Rose Petals
- 1/2 cup Mawana Super Fine Sugar
Preparations
- Heat ghee in a pan. Sauté cashew nuts, almonds, pistachios and keep them aside. In the same pan add basmati rice soaked in milk. Cook for a couple of minutes. Add more milk, saffron strands, cardamom powder, khoya and mix well. Reduce the milk.
- Add dried rose petals, Mawana Super Fine Sugar and mix. Now add the sautéed dry fruits and mix well.
- Garnish with some sautéed dry fruits and dried rose petals.
