Mix Vegetable Dahi Kadi

A vegetable and yogurt recipe, a little tangy, a little spicy and a whole lot delicious, it goes great with steamed rice. 

Ingredients

  • 2 cups yogurt
  • 2 tbsp gram flour
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 dry red chilli
  • 1 pinch asafoetida
  • 6-8 curry leaves
  • 1 tsp chilli paste
  • 2 tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 cup mix vegetables (French Beans, carrot, zucchini )
  • 1 tsp Mawana Super Fine Sugar
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 cups water
  • Coriander leaves

Preparations

  • In a mixing bowl and yogurt and whisk it. Now add gram flour and blend it into the yogurt.
  • Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, dry red chilly, asafoetida, curry leaves, chilli paste, ginger garlic paste and sauté. Add mixed vegetables, Mawana Super Fine Sugar, salt and give it a stir.
  • Pour the yogurt and gram flour mixture into the pan. Top it up with some water and stir to blend everything together. Give the kadhi a boil and add a tempering of curry leaves and mustard seeds. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
