A popular Italian dish among Indians, Penne in white sauce is a creamy delight that is so-very-easy-to-cook but super-delicious to have.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup bell peppers
- 5-6 blanched broccoli
- 5 tbsp boiled sweet corn
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp flour
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp red chilli flakes
- 1 tbsp mixed herbs
- Black pepper powder to taste
- 1 tbsp parsley
- Salt to taste
- 3 tbsp processed cheese
- 1 cup boiled penne
Preparations
- Heat olive oil in a pan. Add bell peppers, blanched broccoli, boiled sweet corn and toss.
- In another pan melt some butter and add olive oil to it. Add chopped garlic and sauté it. Add flour and milk in small batches. Keep whisking to form a smooth sauce. Add chilli flakes, mixed herbs, black pepper powder, parsley, salt, processed cheese and mix well.
- Add the cooked vegetables and boiled penne and give it a toss.
- Garnish with bell peppers and parsley.
