Sprouted moong soup
Ingredients
- 1 cup sprouted moong
- 3 cups water
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp coriander powder
- Salt to taste
- 5-6 baby spinach leaves
- 1 tsp chilli oil
Preparations
- Start by adding sprouted moong and water into the grinder jar of the Usha Trienergy+ . Grind the ingredients to make a smooth paste.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, the moong paste and mix them well. Now add red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt to taste. Cook the mixture for about 2-3 minutes. Now add the water and keep stirring continuously. Ensure that no lumps are formed.
- Boil the soup for a couple of minutes and then add baby spinach leaves to it. Keep stirring and cook for another minute.
- Serve hot and garnish with some chilli oil.
Cooking tip
For smoother texture, add 1 tbsp of masoor dal
